Street View (finally) Comes to Seattle

Just a couple weeks ago, The Naked Loon broke the story:

In a hand-written note wrapped around a brick thrown through a Seattle City Hall window, San Francisco-based Google Inc. reiterated its position Wednesday that they will “never, ever, not in a thousand million years be bringing Street View to Seattle.”

Who could have guessed that a story on the Naked Loon would be so inaccurate? (For those of you not from the Seattle area, The Naked Loon is like a local version of The Onion.) Well...

Today, at long last, Google rolled out Street View for the Seattle area. Woot! Based on the brown grass and the nearly-complete new house next door, I'd guess they took the pictures of our neighborhood in the late summer.

Oh, yeah. Baltimore and Washington now have Street View, too.
