More Seattle Experiences

Realizing that the man waiting in line behind me and Charlie at the University of Washington Medical Center Triangle Parking Garage pay booth is Bill Gates. Not saying anything to Bill Gates (“Thank you for the billions of dollars you’re donating to eradicate disease and hunger and to educate children” comes to mind) because sometimes a guy should be able to pay for his parking without fanfare.

Having three days of sun in a row and getting antsy for the clouds to return.

Attending Ballard’s annual Syttende Mai parade, where we got to see high school marching bands, unicyclists, people dressed as vikings, trucks decked out like viking boats, and lots of old folks and little kids wearing Norwegian folk costumes and waving Norwegian flags. It was great fun.
