12555 When Clifford Mohr arrived in Chicago in the summer of 1929 to attend Grad School at the University of Chicago, Bill brought one of his pick up trucks to the train station to help Clifford bring his trunk to the University.

Gave gardening advice as “Doctor Dirt” on a Portland radio station. In the 1950 census, his occupation is listed as “Radio Communicator - teaching agriculture.”

William listed his own name under “Employer” on his WWII Draft Card, with a work address of 400 N. Highland, Aurora, Illinois.
