    • Arrived in the U.S. in New York City on 14 May 1850 aboard the Alexander out of Bremen. Apparently travelled with Hermann Rottger and William Dittmers, both of Hohenaverbergen.

      Jacob was a founding member of Saint Peter’s German Evangelical Church in Chicago.
