Notes |
- Linda died in somewhat mysterious circumstances. After a minor traffic incident in Albert Lea, she was followed (or chased) by another driver. Both vehicles eventually became stuck in half-frozen mud. The driver of the second vehicle walked up to her car and found it empty, then walked back to town. He returned the next day to have his car towed. Two weeks later, her body was found in an adjacent field, having apparently died of exposure. Police and the medical examiner concluded that Linda had walked across a field to get help, stopped to rest, and died of exposure. Her family believed there was foul play. [3]
