- Rather tall, with reddish blonde hair and blue eyes. Gregarious and sociable, and loved children. Very strict disciplinarian. Scared of mice and lightning.Involved with the activities of Corona Presbyterian Church in Denver. Did a great deal of baby sitting and attending of mothers with newborn babies.
Lived with her daughter Grace (and son-in-law Clifford) at the time of the 1940 census. At the time of the 1950 census, she was working as a maid in the household of William E. Hughes, Jr.
Kept her own apartment until the last few months of her life, when she voluntarily moved to a nursing home (Iliff Nursing Care Center, 6060 E. Iliff Ave., Denver CO 80222). [4, 10, 11, 23]
