  Research Notes	According to 1900 census, Alvilda was born in June 1851. It also indicates that she had five children, three who survived until 1900. This is in conflict with the information on her childrens’ birth certificates, which indicate that Blanche was the second child, Karen was the fourth, Adolph was the fifth and Louis was the sixth. The delayed birth certificate of son Henry indicates that he was her ninth child with all 9 living as of his birth in July 1894.
