  Research Notes	Emigrated in 1887 or 1888. Several sources indicate Alfred was born in Denmark; only the birth certificate of his daughter Estella gives a more specific location (Sjælland). It is possible I have mis-interpreted the handwriting, though. At the time of the 1920 census, Alfred and Thora were living with the family of Chas. J. Hansen, age 62, born in Denmark. Perhaps this is a sibling of Alfred’s.  [4, 5, 9, 11]
