  Research Notes	William is listed in the 1900 census (in the household of his grandfather Henry Mohr) as “William Anderson.” 1910 Census lists name as “Wilhelm A.” According to Wendell Mohr’s notes, William married twice and his children are from his second marriage. Alfred Hansen is listed as William’s father on his death certificate. The informant was his son David; it is possible David did not know that Alfred wasn’t William’s father.  [1, 7, 11, 13]

  When Clifford Mohr arrived in Chicago in the summer of 1929 to attend Grad School at the University of Chicago, Bill brought one of his pick up trucks to the train station to help Clifford bring his trunk to the University. Gave gardening advice as “Doctor Dirt” on a Portland radio station. William listed his own name under “Employer” on his WWII Draft Card, with a work address of 400 N. Highland, Aurora, Illinois.
