Research Notes | Nora White gives Minnie’s birthplace as “Schwenmunder, East Germany (now Poland).” It seem likely that this is actually Swinemünde (now Świnoujście, Poland). According to the 1900 and 1910 censuses, Minnie had four children, three of whom were still living. Minnie’s name appears crossed-out in the 1880 census entry for her father’s household.
