    • Came to New England in 1634 aboard the ship Elizabeth (William Andrews, master). Settled in Watertown, Massachusetts, near what now the corner of Huron Avenue and Appleton Street in Cambridge. Proclaimed freeman on 6 May 1635. Invited to Ipswich, Massachusetts, where the settlement needed a wheelwright. Spent the rest of his life in Ipswich. [3]
