There is no sure evidence that she is the correct Paulina Schoelzel, but her details seem to match up well: birth year reasonable given ages of her parents and siblings, married in Chicago shortly after arriving with her mother, moved to Kentucky, etc. The most definitive evidence for a connection is the addresses of her mother’s death in January 1890 and her son’s birth in July 1890: both records list 104 Johnston Ave (now 2933 W.
