A Martin F. Kummerow appears in the 1940 census, living at the Hotel Major, 666 West Madison Street, Chicago. Despite the age match (and the fact that he is widowed), I’m not confident it is a match because of a large age discrepancy (58 vs. 46 in the census entry). [12, 13] |
