  Immigrated to US in 1834, leaving Bremen on 1 May and arriving in Baltimore on 27 June. Lived first in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving to Chicago in 1835 and settling in Addison Township (Bensenville) in 1837. Godparents: Herman Frantzen vulgo Spieker from the List property, Johan Berendt Wilke’s son Herman & Henrich Esch the master carpenter.
